Can I profile conveyor belt cleaners to match a worn belt?
Cleaners equipped with tungsten carbide tips have segmented cushions, meaning each segment will automatically profile to belt wear patterns over time. However, if the belt is badly worn, we recommend a polyurethane blade – this will profile more efficiently, and is gentler on the belt.
